How to Avoid Work at Home Scams
There are many work at home scams out on the internet trying to take advantage of many stay at home moms looking for legitimate ways to work at home. In fact, over 30.2 million Americans have feel to online scams, such as work at home jobs and weight-loss products. Now-a-days it’s very hard to tell which sites are scams and which are not. The worst part is that they all look very nice and professional. Many seem legit when you take a quick glance at the landing page.
Thankfully, with a simple Google search you can tell if a site is legit or not. I’ll use a PTC site for example. The site GetPaidByEmail.com is a well-known scam site that claims you can make money by reading emails. How do I know this? Look at the search results for GetPaidByEmail.com scam. See how all the top results all talk about GetPaidByEmail.com being a complete scam? Google can be really useful when looking for scams. Just search the domain name and add the word “scam” at the end. Go through the search results and see if they are reliable reports of them being scammed and being a victim of fraud. Don’t automatically assume that just because the search results say the company is a scam. Invetigate the search results and see if it was a simple problem that was solved.
Using search engines is a great resource to finding out if a company is legit or a flatout scam. Always research the programs you are about to join before signing up for them. Save your money and time of being a victim of scams.
